This year the Diocese of Manchester is very blessed to be welcoming its newest Seminarian, Michael Sartori. Mike is a graduate of Trinity High School and Saint Anselm College. He was a philosophy major and heavily involved in the Knights of Columbus (Council #4875- my council too!) while studying with the Benedictines.
Mike is a wonderful young man who will be joining Alan, Jeff, Mike Z., Charlie and myself at St. Mary's in Baltimore. Now that there will be six of us there we will need to begin taking two cars instead of one, every time we have a Manchester guys night out.
On another note I am not going to lie it will be a little strange to be going to the Seminary with a former student (although I never had the privilege to have Mike in class). I am 100% excited to have Mike joining us, it just will be a role reversal of sorts, in the same way that it is strange for teachers to have former students join them on the teaching faculty. Please keep Mike in your prayers as he makes the first of many big steps.
